The storm is over and gone. The only thing to do now, both as a people and a city is to come together. Back to New Orleans to rebuild our lives and our wonderful city, as we knew it.

As we do this, folks like myself stop to reflect back on our past hurricane season and hope for a better outcome for every season there-after. I count my blessings which are overwhelming from all who have been here to share my gift of music and joy of life that had brought us together, if not just one night but many through out the years.

Our prayers were answered, Thank You All, for so many, from so for away, with so much love. I could only imagine how bad it was for some and worst now, but with your ongoing prayers and good wishes we will meet again at the watering hole on Bourbon Street, either here in New Orleans or concert, festival, neighborhood bar, etc. around the world.

If I had not the chance to answer your e-mail, please forgive me and rest assure I have found comfort in your words, and I say THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU.
